METI to Host GGX Finance Summit to Advance Global Dialogue on Transition Finance and Decarbonization
Tokyo, Japan — November 5, 2025:
The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) will host the GGX Finance Summit on November 5, 2025 (Wednesday) at The Capitol Hotel Tokyu in Tokyo, with a hybrid format that allows both in-person and online participation. The event aims to deepen discussions on transition finance, industrial decarbonization, and the broader role of business and finance in achieving net-zero goals while fostering economic growth.
Bringing together global leaders from government, business, and the financial sector, the summit will serve as a platform for collaboration and international dialogue on building a sustainable economic model that balances emission reductions and industrial competitiveness.
